What we do

Myburgh & Kotze Incorporated is a firm of labour law practitioners and legal advisors based in Potchefstroom, working in the whole of central South Africa.
We assist companies to comply with employment and labour legislation. In this regard we assist companies with appropriate contracts of employment, disciplinary codes and human resources policies. We conduct disciplinary hearings, represent clients at the CCMA and Bargaining Council dispute resolution processes, conduct trade union negotiations, assist with Department of Labour inspections, ensure Employment Equity compliance, implement Health and Safety appointments and systems, implement POPIA compliance, and more. We also do training about the details of legislation to ensure compliance by our clients.

Myburgh & Kotze Incorporated is a firm of labour law practitioners and legal advisors. Based in Potchefstroom, Myburgh & Kotze Inc was established by advocate Piet Myburgh and admitted attorney De Witt Kotze. After initially working independently, we joined forces to form Myburgh & Kotze Inc in 2015.
We are assisted by legal advisor, Ockert van den Berg. Together we have many years of experience in a wide variety of labour law matters. Myburgh & Kotze Inc is an approved member of the AHI Employers’ Organisation and can represent companies in the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, and the Labour Court.
